Hi, I’m Kennedie Maynard. I’m an only child who found a love for graphic design a little later than I probably should have. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, but looking back, the signs were always there. I just didn’t know what graphic design really was until college, and I’m thankful God led me in that direction. Outside of design, I’m a proud dog mom to Ziggy, my Shih Tzu mix, and animals have always been a big part of my life. They bring so much joy and balance to my world. I truly believe my journey into design has been part of God’s plan, and I’m excited to see where it leads me next.
Over the past several years, I’ve had the chance to work with some amazing teams. At Granite Division, I spent a year and a half developing my skills in digital, social media, and print design. I learned how to bring creative concepts to life across multiple platforms and how to adapt designs to fit different audiences.
After that, I spent more than three years at Lemon Seed, where I really grew as a designer. I focused on logo design, branding, and client communication, learning how to listen closely and translate ideas into meaningful visuals. From designing logos to building full brand identities, I saw firsthand how design can shape a company’s entire presence and leave a lasting impression.
When I’m not designing, you can usually find me at an old-school arcade, reliving the fun of winning tickets. I also still have a soft spot for theatre. I grew up as a theatre kid, so I’ll happily belt out a show tune or two if it helps spark some creativity.
Through both my education and hands-on experience, I’ve learned how to create design work that is intentional, effective, and people-focused. I can’t wait to keep growing and see where this creative journey takes me.
